Following up on the results of our EmployerOne Survey, where employers expressed a need for stronger soft skills in the workplace, SLWDB will provide two workshops on the non-technical skills required for leadership and management positions. These workshops will create connections between local facilitators and leaders in local health and retail businesses.

We were among many community organizations involved with Age-Friendly Sarnia, which provides information on supports and community services that exist in Sarnia Lambton, creating and maintaining a community that supports everyone, regardless of their age.

SLWDB joined more than 70 local employers at the PAIRS Career Exploration Event on Wednesday May 8 at Lambton College. The PAIRS Committee is a partnership between local businesses and local high schools that works to share resources with students across Sarnia Lambton. Attendees were given the opportunity to explore a cross-section of local jobs.
