Motorcycle technicians diagnose, repair, overhaul, and replace the mechanical and electrical parts of motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Their work involves adjusting, repairing, or replacing these parts using hand tools and soldering and brazing equipment. They also test and adjust repaired systems for proper performance. Increasingly, they work with electronic components and diagnostic equipment.
