Building the Francophone Workforce in Sarnia Lambton: Community Action Plan
In November 2024 Sarnia Lambton was designated a French language community. Employers struggled to fill roles to accommodate the necessity of having a French speaking staff. The francophone project was launched to understand the needs in the local community and create an action plan to address the current gaps.
The Community Action Plan is a responsive, community-centered framework to support both employer and job seekers alike.
