- Hiring immigrants makes good business sense
By 2016, employers will need to attract at least 2,000 people to Sarnia Lambton to meet anticipated labour market demand. While many jobs will be filled by local talent, demographics demand that many of these new opportunities will be filled by New Canadians.
To help local employers and HR Managers learn how to attract, hire and retain newcomer talent, we just released "Global Talent: An Employers' Guide to Hiring Immigrants." This is a companion document to the "Global Talent Guide for Workers" we launched in 2008.
